Funding Postgraduate Study

There are 2 major costs- 1. Fees, average between £3,000 and £6,000 per annum for a Master Degree
- 2. Living expenses, between £6000-£8000 per annum depending on location.

Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme (ORSAS)
- ORSAS was set up by the Secretary of State for Education and Science in 1979 to attract high-quality international students to the United Kingdom to undertake research. The Scheme is funded through the four UK higher education funding bodies (for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).
Loans
- Loans for postgraduate study are not available from the Student Loans Company as they are for undergraduate study. A different loan has to be applied for. More information.

- In Scotland there is a completely different scheme to England, called The Student Awards Agency for Scotland, SAAS.
